Star Wars Battlefront II has managed to keep FIFA 18 and Call of Duty: WWII from the top spot for the most downloaded game in December.
Despite the huge pay-to-win controversy surrounding Battlefront II’s launch, it seems EA removing the games micro transactions has gone a long way with gamers.
A couple of notable entries to the top 10 include Grand Theft Auto V at number 4, Not bad for a 5 year old game. Also Wolfenstein: The New Order re-enters at number 9, no doubt people catching up on the first one before jumping into Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (myself included).
The epic The Last of Us Remastered rounds to the top 10.
The complete top 10 most downloaded PlayStation 4 games on the PlayStation Store for December 2017 are…
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- FIFA 18
- Call of Duty: WWII
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Need For Speed: Payback
- Gang Beasts
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
- Rocket League
- Wolfenstein: The New Order
- The Last of Us Remastered
On the VR front, Superhot took the December crown ahead of Job Simulator, While Assassin’s Creed III Liberation leads the way on PS Vita.
